Burnaby Paws for a Cause Walk

This year, CARE Pest is a proud sponsor of Vancouver BC SPCA Paws for a Cause Walk. On Sunday, September 12th, 2010, at Stanley Park Lumberman's Arch. We will join the residents of Vancouver to raise funds for the local animal shelters to help injured and abused animals. The Paws for a Cause walk is the largest fundraising and awareness initiative for animals across BC.

CARE Pest has always had a special interest in animals; we have great respect for wildlife and will only use humane control methods while out in the field.

Bed bug sniffing dogs

Our team has also recently rescued three beagles from the animal shelter, Bonnie, Clyde and Vegas.  Our beagles have been trained extensively on how to detect bed bugs using their nose. Bed bug sniffing dogs detect bedbugs whether they’re out in the open or hiding in behind a wall void or inside a mattress – something humans can’t do. Our dogs create confidence that we are diagnosing your pest problem correctly.
